Americas policies toward Israel

I am an American Christian who believes that crimes against humanity have been committed over and over again by Islamist extremists. Israel has been on the receiving end for centuries. Israel has a right and a duty to defend its people. My question is: How do the Israelis feel about our policies under the Obama administration?

Love is the battery of life....

Hi,
In the beginning I was sure that Obama will be a real friend of Israel (as all American presidents traditionally were).  As a candidate Obama visited Israel and gave that impression (in all his interviews and all his press conferences).  Soon after he became President all his attitude changed dramatically.  I am sure that he is a Muslim and strongly favours the Arab's position.  I am an Israeli and I feel President Obama is not a friend of Israel but much more an enemy.  I pray to The All Mighty that his days in the white house will end soon and  the old traditional relations between Israel and USA will return to be as good as they always were.  I would like all American people to know that all Israelie's are very thankful to the huge support of we received from them (the American people) and wiithout it we wouldn't have been able to do it.  We are very much dissapointed.  Personally I feel like a child that is parents chased him from the house saying "we don't like you any more, go away...... ".    Please let me know that the American people still feel friends to Israel and support us.  Please remember that the one and only nation in the Middle-East that you can rely on and trust is Israel.  Israel has never turned it's back to you and will never do.  G-d bless you the great nation of America.
Best regards,

OronD, I am an American citizen and I cannot speak for everyone, but as a Christian I can assure you that the vast majority of us are on your side. Since we are descendants of Judaism we feel a special bond with Israel.

I don't know what is going on with Obama. He looks more and more like a Muslim or at least more favorable to the Arabs.

Shalom

To say nothing, especially when speaking, is half the art of diplomacy.

To be perfectly honest with you, I don't know what to think anymore. Actions speak louder then words, and so far all I have seen is a lot of talk. This is true for all of the parties that are involved in the Middle East.

OronD:  Rest assured that American Jews and (true) Christians support the State of Israel with their whole hearts.  We believe in G_d and wish to be obedient to His holy and righteous will (Genesis 12:3).

While the personal political views and religious beliefs of our President are of great significance, they do not necessarily rule.  This is not a dictatorship (yet).  It's a government of the people, by the people, and (hopefully) for the people.

The way I see it is this.  Basically, we are being overrun.  In my judgement, this began in 1964 when Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy proposed sweeping liberalizations of the Immigration And Naturalization Act of 1947.  It had served us well for many years.  "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Unfortunately, those goals that were so clearly enunciated in approximately 604 AD (our calendar) are now coming to fruition.  This is a result of the liberal agenda in this country since 1964 (the so called Great Society) opening our already too porous borders and the proclivity of Islamic women to propagate the species at a much higher (proven) rate than we do.  In the urban areas here it seems like Arabic is rapidly becoming the second language of America.

Islam marches on.

Do not worry.  WE WILL WIN!  Did you ever hear that song by Bob Dylan, "With G_d On Their Side?"

GBY and the State of Israel as well.

Shalom,

MW

HI ...I'm a dual American-Israeli citizen, live half the year in each country and am very concerned about Obama's policies re Israel (to say nothing of the constant bad-mouthing of Israel in the UN).....it was the main reason I voted against him, and many Israelis feel as I do....there's a thinly disguised layer of antisemitism, particularly stemming from the European community that is actually very detrimental to the whole peace process and it needs to be discussed openly in public forums.  The world is all to quick to blame Israel for all the woes of the Middle East and ignore the blatant violations of every agreement coming from the Palestinians and their supporters..Jane F

Obama is a self-serving politician first and foremost.  Very inclined to have his public image doctored and regularly altered to appear more acceptable to all.  The only thing I still fail to understand is, why would the 'American people' want a 'weasel' like this left watching their chicken coop?  Oh, that's right.  Still believing the lying liberal media.  Fox is the only one, besides EIB that's worth any trust at all.................
