My American Express Personal Credit Card was charged on September 4th for $306.73 at the Restaurant at Shipol Airport in Amsterdam when I was in Anacortes, Washington. Does the Restaurant recognize the erroneous charge?

Call the 800 American Express number and ask for the fraud division. They will take it from there to include contacting the restaurant. I've just gone thru this with VISA (my card number was stolen at a golf course) and even though I cancelled the card immediately there were several more charges in process. Don't delay reporting this.
Don't worry American Express will cover this. Happened to me and wasn't charged.
