Is acupuncture useful for arthritis?
Yes, it can relief the pain and even improve functioning. There was a serious research
In my day job I write about Blood Pressure Treatment and treat those who suffer from blood pressure problems. Low blood pressure is a particular interest and I'm often asked about how to lower cholesterol levels. A healthy heart is becoming a huge focus for many of us nowadays. Improving your blood pressure control and thus the health of your heart and circulation system is really important. My most recent online "adventure" is to start a facility for people to ask me my opinion and to provide high quality health information by answering medical questions online.
I also have a special interest in the problem of feeling Tired All the Time and in those who suffer from chronic fatigue or lethargy. This seems to tie in also to skin care issues or skin treatment problems and suggestions. Tiredness and fatigue can lead to major problems for many individuals in modern society and the way that this can affect all areas of general health can be quite invasive in terms of daily life and coping skills.
My work with footballers and athletes leads to a focus on Painful Shoulder conditions and on the problems associated with frozen shoulder or whiplash injury. Rotator cuff injury causes problems for many of my patients.
When not working I daydream about my next amazing european vacation trip My favorite European cities include Paris and Barcelona and my next blog project will be to write about the best way to spend a night in Paris and how to find an apartment in Barcelona. I just love European travel in all its forms.

Acupuncture for joint pain is a good option
Safe, drug free and usually effective
sure it is. however it only treats the symptoms (pain) not the cause.
an alternative to acupuncture (if you dont like the idea of needles) could be hypnotherapy , but this would relieve the symptoms (pain relief etc.) only. there are normally registers of local hypnotherapists on the net (uk one is http://www.hypnotherapysociety.com/ ) always use a registered practisioner. too many unregistered charlatans around.
hope that this helps.
I enjoy using Yedda to ask and answer medical questions. I previously worked as a nurse but am now based from home - having just completed a long spell of breast cancer treatment.
Life has also been busy lately after the arrival of our new puppy called poppy. She's a black labarador retriever and drives us all crazy at times but we just adore the buzz she brings to the house. Last week she caused me a shoulder injury by tugging when out walking - but I can forgive that for the fun she brings.
Last month my husband invested in the Resperate device for lower blood pressure - and boy is it effective?

Worked very well for my mum and my aunt
Good relief and long lasting benefits after about five or six treatments
I underwent several treatments myself . It was very relieving but please make sure you visit a professional clinic and not just any therapist.
The search for people who can answer your question continues for as long as needed - until you find the answer you were looking for.
When an answer is posted by someone who was invited (byYedda or by yourself) to answer your question, their answer is marked with a yellow "invited by Yedda".
