Alternative to Wallpaper

I'm trying to find wall decor that's alternative to wallpaper. I live in a condo that won't allow me to wallpaper. I've seen a lot of expensive options out there and am looking for something affordable.

Thanks

you can do a custom paint job with some sponging, hand painted motifs or other form of creating a wallpaper look without having wallpaper, there are also textured paints out there as well so you could also do a suede paint which mimics having suede on the walls when done right and both are relatively easy they even have paints with a grainy/sand finish...

A suitable patterned cotton fabric saturated with liquid starch can be applied to the wall like wallpaper,is easy to remove, and won't leave a mess on your wall. Good luck,if you decide to try this suggestion.
