Allowing small dogs to sleep in our bed?

My husband hates when our small Chihuahuas sleep in our bed. What can I do to change this?

Don't have them sleep in the bed.  Human beds are for human beings.  So try to get them their own bed.  Dogs really shouldn't be on furniture.  It wears the furniture out more quickly and changes the mindset of who is alpha in the group.  This is coming from a dog owner and lover.

How many Chihuahuas do you have that it bothers your husband so much? If it really bothers him than I would say to buy the dogs their own beds and keep them on your side so they are still close to you. If you really like having them up in bed with you than I would say to keep them on the opposite side of you so that they are not "right" next to your husband that way they are not separating you and your husband.  I don't see anything wrong with pets sleeping in human beds, that's an owners choice.  The thing I can't stand is cats on kitchen counters...GROSS! Just remember that you don't want to push your hubby out on the couch so think of his feelings and try to come to a happy medium!

Good Luck!

We have 2 Chihuahuas that I am crazy about. I try to keep them on my side of the bed but he still complains. Sometimes after he has gone to sleep, they'll come to my side of the bed and I'll pick them up and hide them under the blankets on my side of the bed. They clearly know he doesn't want them in the bed but I'm a total sucker! I love cuddling with them! And they keep me warmer than he does!!!!
