I want to get some info about allergy shots,if it's really worth it and where I can get one of these in the U.S...

I'm the type of girl who will burst out laughing in dead silence because of something that happened yesterday.
My sister used to get allergy shots and she found them to be extremely helpful. She used to say it sure beat taking a pill every day (she got one shot once a week).
Headphones: you can listen to music you like or keep other noise out.
My ex-sister-in-law died after an allergy shot. (They are actually injecting the allergen into person in small doses to build immunity) I am totally, absolutely against them. I have bad allergies and my daughter as well. She is now 29. I would throw myself in front of a train before I let her get one. That is a figure of speech of course meaning I would stop her in any way I could. She wouldn't do it though anyway.
