Hi Emily.James makes 1/5 of the garden in one hour. Beth mows 1/3 of the garden every hour. X = the time they'll finish mowing if they work together. X * (1/5 + 1/3) = 1X * [3 + 5]/15 = 1 8X = 15X = 1.875 hours (or 1 hour and 52.5 minutes [ 60 * 0.875 ]). Best regards,
