Write a system of equations in two variables that has the solution (4,2)
Life is too serious not to have a sense of humor.
Jen
x + y = 6
x - y = 2
To solve, add these two equations. You get
2x = 8
x = 4
Substituting
4 + y = 6
y = 2

Hi,One can create endless number of equations based on X = 4 and Y = 27x + 3y = 343x -Y = 10 2x + 5y = 184x + 6y = 28Hope the idea is clear..... Best regards,
