what is the highest amount of alcohol in wine (which is not added to the wine by another liqueur, like dessert wine)? Which wine is it?
It's hard to indicte the highest amount of alcohol. There are zinfandels as high as 17% and shiraz from Australia is hovering around the same mark. I haven't seen any higher than that, but that doesn't mean that they don't exist. Hope this helps.
