Yes,  you may, from the sound of what is going on now, especially if you were drinking during that time. I still urge you to find the support you need in a bible believing church. You cannot deal with your problem alone, no matter how much you pray.

Stop drinking and in due time your system will repair itself depending on how long you quit the habit. Probably in a years time.

PLEASE seek help! my kids father just passed away this week due to his alcoholic problems he died from ulcerated stomach and he was only 55 yrs old and he robbed himself of years he could have been here for his future grandchildren and it is a shame and it has hurt my kids so much.  I hope the best for you in this situation and if you can seek an AA sponsor it will be a real blessing because he did seek one and went for a few months which was the best time of our whole marriage which ended after he started drinking and becoming violent toward me and the kids.

Yes your liver can repair itself.  Is is the only organ that can.  I am an alcoholic too and worry that my drinking in the past wrecked my liver.  I went to my doctor and ask for a complete blood workup to include a liver enzyme test.  So far I'm doing well and I was a hard pressed binge drinker.  I now take Campral to help with urges.  It works wonders.  Also I take Shark Cartledge (GNC).  It is a natural element that help the liver rejuvenate.  Good Luck.

Drinking much alcohol will lead you in many illnesses especially on your liver and it makes your body abuse. If you really wanted to change, change your lifestyle first, stop drinking little by little and you will see the big changes in you. Start it now, its not really too late, you have still your children, make a change for them. Make your self busy in order to forget your bad routine. Think, it's for your family.

you should get help to stop drinking. my mother died when i was 15 b/c she could not stop drinking. if you are all your son has then find out why you want to drink and talk about your problems rather than trying to drink your problems away. you're only making it worse.

Yes, your liver can still be repaired. Take some medicines or supplements that will improve your liver. Stop drinking too much because drinking alcohol takes moderation and not of being addicted to it.
