I guess the question is do you like to drink and how much do you consume. If you wish to quit then first you need to start by looking at your life more closely.

No, your liver is one organ that does NOT regenerate!  What damage is done to it is permanent.  There have been a "few" liver transplants, but they are few and far between and very rarely offered to an individual that has abused alcohol in their past.  So..... Stop NOW, save what liver function you have and live your life to the fullest.  If you have already been warned about your liver function, you are walking a very fine line  --  Today is here, tomorrow is what you make it.  Make your own decision about your tomorrows, you are the only one that can!

Yes, our body can repair everything except the brain and spinal cord cells. So you have all chances of improving but the only one who can help yourself is "YOU". We human beings can achieve everything if we are determined. Also you son is your best inspiration. Just don't think of drinking alcohol again. Divert your mind to planning some constructive activities that you are going to take-up next day or plan something to do for your son and family each day before you go to sleep. Yes, You can do it! By the way you can also vist my Make Money Online blog to learn and start a blog to make money online so that you can divert your mind and keep away from drinking - believe me this online world of money making is more addictive then alcohol.
