Do you think that Alberto Gonzales should remain the U.S. Attorney General? Has he done anything wrong; and is he able to lead the Justice Department anymore?
The question was answered on its own : Amid several controversies and allegations of perjury before Congress, on August 27, 2007 Gonzales announced his resignation as Attorney General, effective September 17, 2007.
So - he decided for himself that he could not continue.
