Alarm clock for HTC Touch Pro / Windows Mobile 6.1 phone?

So, I set my phone (HTC Touch Pro running Windows Mobile 6.1) alarm to 6:00am.

At 6am the alarm went off. I pick up the phone, stare at the screen, and blink. And then I blink again. Because there is no way to turn it off.

Yes, my spouse loved the show. Yes, I felt kinda stupid. So I checked here and there, and found that this is a very common problem.

In fact, it seems like 6.1 versions were not enough for our friends at Redmond to come up with a working alarm clock app for Windows Mobile. The bugs are many and mostly amusing in a sad kind of way.

So, my question is: which alarm clock app are you using with your Windows Mobile phone?

I have a Palm, but have a similar problem. Personally, I set up meetings at 6AM, so that I'm waken by the meeting's alarm

hkabla, this makes perfect sense in a perfect world. However, on the HTC Touch Pro, the meeting alarm may not actually be heard because the phone is on silent and it won't go out of silent mode for a petty alarm. Or, it will sound, but the user interface to turn it off is hidden behind the HTC TouchFlo 3D pretty interface, and there is no way you will be able to turn it off. And more :)

In short, I am looking for an alarm app which knows how to deal with these little peculiarities of the Touch Pro.

None, but i'm super pissed. Not to be a big baby, but my ole POS razor never let me down. Now I bought this new, super expensive piece of sh*t that won't even wake me up!? And to top it all off, the battery dies after 1 1/2 hours with no use. Grrr!

I bought the $%# Pro 2 in order to not miss more work,and guess what, my little bleep bleep went off quietly, ONCE, thats it, although in settings I have it set for multiple notifications. Consider that you remain employed!

For you: Restart the phone, at least you are awake!
