Has anyone experienced a broken control arm in a 2009 Dodge Charger with less than 600 miles on it. Purchased new. Pregnant granddaughter said she struggled for control and hit a curb which caused a lot of damage to underside. Was driving on residental streets not expressways and going approved speed at about 35mph. She had just purchased vehicle in March. Dealership repair claims she broke the control arm with the impact. She had another passenger in the car, claims accident caused by lack of control of steering. Could such a low speed impact cause the control arm to break?
