Air condition problem

I Have a Bryant condensor unit that was installed in 2008 since than I had to replace the compressors twice both times the compressors where shorted out, Is it possible they gave me defected compressors or is there some thing else that maybe causing this.

Do you keep your unit clean and free of debris? You should have it inspected and cleaned at least every other year. Something is causing your compressor to work on overload. Is the unit rated for your space? Have somone come out and inspect your unit and make sure they check your thermostat, it may need to be cleaned or replaced.

Hi if you have replaced two compressors it sounds like the first one was a bad burn out and no one replaced the liquid and suction filters with HH acid absorbing filters, an acid test should have been done with the first compressor failure, I doubt it and sometimes you have to fush the line set out with R-11 or another flush chemical, Let me know Mike D.

  When the aironditioner is running is it working properly? Is it a heat pump? Was this a new installation or an equipment change out? If it is an equipment change out, did the installer put the same tonage or BTU system in?
