I'd like to get some opinions on I.S.P.s that do not require a Land-line telephone. I'm currently using embarq as my I.S.P. along with other features such as Land-line Local/Long Distance Service. I have a Cell Phone with At&t and about 18 Months left on my sentence with them. I just don't have a need for a Land-line. All I need is a Internet connection. DSL is fine if it's comparable to broadband speed-wise. I haven't heard anything good or bad about wireless or sattelite connections. By the way, between At&t and embarq I don't have anymore arms or legs, so I'm looking for affordability and dependability also.
