And what if the clip i'm interested in is not online, but rather in the form of an .avi (or .flv, .mp3, etc.) file in my hard-disk? Of course i could just upload it to the above mentioned site, and add subtitles, but i'd like to retain the subtitled version as a file in my hard-disk (VideoDownloader does not seem to work with clips from
The blog Proud Geek recently discussed three other possibilities for subtitles: Windows Movie Maker; Jumpcut; and Subtitle Workshop.
