"Well, I don't think it's a good idea to tell the doctor you are buying ADD medicine.  He/She would be less likely to take you seriously if they thought you were a reckless person."

I'm definitely not going to tell her that I've been taking Adderall now.

"Tell the doctor that you have been reading up on ADHD and that you can relate to many of the symptoms. (fidgety, procrastination, concentration problems etc.)"

"BTW, there's tons of online tests that can give you an idea of what type, and whether or not you have ADHD.  I'd look into one of those to help get a clearer picture."
