This is a photo of Fred Astaire. He was top Hollywood box office in the thirties, forties, even the fifties. The dialogue and plots of his movies seem rather corney today (perhaps they always were), but many of his dance scenes are classics. Best known for musicals such as "Bandwagon" or "Royal Wedding," which contained probably his most famous dance number in which he danced 360 degrees in a small room. Thats floor, wall, ceiling, wall, and back to floor -- all in one continuous shot. It's worth a look if you have never seen it. (Royal Wedding).
