Aceto Balsamico di Modena

I buy balsamic vinegar every now and then, and it's always from Modena. I don't think I ever saw balsamic vinegar that didn't come from Modena. Why is it? Doesn't anyone even try to make this vinegar outside Italy?

Balsamic vinegar can only be produced in the regions of Modena and Reggio in Italy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, Italy is governed by governmental Consortium . Products under their supervision come with a seal from the Consortium ensuring they have metthe best standards in a blind-tasting by five experts.

Not all balsamic vinegars are what they appear to be.

The real one priced from $50.00 to $500.00 per bottle. It must be aged a minimum of 10 year up to 25 years.

One can use as substitute black rice vinegar.
