For some inexplicable reason, my computer times out while trying to load the AOL web site. I can operate on the Internet as before, but cannot access the AOL site not to mention my email. The only thing that I recall in the prior 72 hours was an email with some spreadsheet attachments that came back undeliverable the last time that I was able to access my email. I simply deleted it and took the info to the person on a flash stick.
I can access AOL through other computers except my wife's laptop, which routes through the Linksys that I have hooked into my computer's hardwire connection to the Internet. I am using my computer right now, just routed through my office system.
Anybody know what to do to re-establish my ability to access AOL & my AOL mail directly as I have been doing for years? No recent software changes. No known viruses before or after except for a couple of low risk tracking/ad related cookies that I have purged. I did let my MacAfee expire a while back, but have its version that is obtainable free on the Internet now installed after the fact; plus, I removed the old MacAfee & all AOL-related software, but still no luck. Even tried purging the router.
HELP!
