AOL Stored Pictures

Is there a way to get rid of all the pictures I have stored on my computer that are .jpg without getting rid of the ones I want to keep?  I'm tempted to do a Ctrl-A and delete all, but then it would delete all, which I don't want.  I just noticed I had over 1000 pics of stupid things (old ladies on Harley's flipping the finger) that came with someone's email they thought was funny.  Opening it, I didn't realize would save it.  Which made me look and see the thousand of other pics I don't wish to keep.  I've been, semi-weekly, sitting down and deleting the ones I don't want one by one, but is there another way?  Or should I just keep plugging along?

Thanks~~*Kat

Hey Kat -

Hopefully I didn't find your question too late, and you're done deleting the pictures you don't want and/or need.

I recommend you download and install Google's Picasa. Its a free photo image management program that will display, sort and catalog all your images and media files and allow you to easily see, sort and manage all the files you have.

It is very versatile and has helped me manage the images on my computer and delete lots of duplicates!

You can download it here: http://picasa.google.com/

Hope this helps! Itay.

THANK YOU, Itay.  And yes, there are duplicates and triplicates even!  I will certainly give that program a try.  Thank you so much!
