AOL Misinformation

Why in the world does my computer tell me that I have a new message from AOL, when in fact, I don't?  I can't tell you how irritating it is to navigate through the user/password process, only to find that--OOPS--I actually don't have a new message.  I have three children and a dog, and NO TIME for this business.
