AOL Mail - Community Support Team

AOL supports both POP3 and IMAP as incoming mail server types. Since it sounds like you're trying to set up a mail client to access your mail, I'd recommend going with IMAP since it generally gives you a better experience.  There's an FAQ at http://members.aol.com/adamkb/aol/mailfaq/imap/ to help with such setup.
