My address book keeps adding email addresses from ...

My address book keeps adding email addresses from emails I receive but it is not syn. with my incoming emails. How do I prevent this?

What do you want to do? Turn off the auto add feature? If yes and you are using AOL Webmail (http://webmail.aol.com), go to "Settings", "Compose" and uncheck "

Automatically add email addresses to Contacts"

The auto add feature is not checked but I still keep getting new contacts added to my address book.

AOL Mail - Community Support Team

If you are using AOL Webmail, go to "Settings", "Compose" and uncheck " Automatically add email addresses to Contacts"

If you are using AOL 9.1, go to your Addressbook, click on the dropdown "Addressbook Options", select "Address Book Settings" and uncheck the option there

If you Are using AOL Desktop (10.0) open Mail, Click on "Settings", select "General", select "Writing & Sending", uncheck "When I send mail top people, automatically add their e-mail addresses to my Address Book"
