Thin slices of thought cut quickest.

If a dealer is wanting to buy it from you then he is going to offer a price below value so he can resell and make a profit. Take pictures of it and next time you are out of town go to a antique store and ask if they can tell you anything about it....if you need money tho sell it...the dealers are just not going to pay market value...they are not ripping you off. It is business.

Oolong is a traditional Chinese tea in between green and black.  Oolong means black dragon tea.  If your bin is old it probably was sitting in some old country store waiting for customers to buy the tea by the pound.

If you plan on selling do your homework.  Once it's gone it's gone.  Check with your library.  They might have books on Country Store items or Oriental items.

Right now antique dealers in the midwest are paying 10 to 20 cents on the dollar because of the economy.  Take a picture of it and go around to your antique malls and stores and see what your best offer is and take it from there.  Good luck.
