The American Film Institute is about to publish their new list of top 100 American movies. Until they do, where can I find older lists like this?
AFI also released a list of top 100 American movies in 1997. It's fun to compare the 1997 and 2007 lists and second-guess the film experts. Wikipedia does a good job of presenting the lists in
