I have a 98 Chevy Blazer and was driving it and it just lost power. I had my foot all the way to the floor and it was doing about 15 miles an hr.It started to make a knocking noise.I made it to a mechanic and he said I needed a new engine. When you start it up it runs, but as soon as you put in gear it loses power. I cant afford a new engine. Could it be something else.
