My pipes aren't rattling but, when I flush the ...

My pipes aren't rattling but, when I flush the toilet it sounds like the pipes are being pinched off and it seems like it takes longer than usual to fill the tank. Also the water is much warmer than normal. Is it the mixer that's causing all these problems?
