what do the mouth, teeth and tongue have to do with digestion?
Mouth accepts the food and supplies the necessary enzymes that begin digestion process, tongue moves the food around in the mouth so all teeth can chew the food and the teeth grind the food to a finer substance that can be more easily digested in the stomach and finally in the digestive tract.
