There are quite a few paintings that were sold for more. Most of them a little after Monet. This Van Gogh was sold for 136.1 million dollars:

I believe the world record is a Jackson Pollock painting, that was sold for something like 140 million dollars.
I personally would be satisfied with a reproduction of the painting, for a couple of dollars.
