I recently went to a new doctor and noticed he was located in something called the Professional Building. I felt better right away.

No. One example has to do with Type 2 diabetes. It was once a disease that occurred primarily, if not exclusively, in adults. Today, however, the disease is increasingly appearing in adolescents and even in children. There has been a 10-to-30 fold increase in American children with type 2 diabetes in the past 10 to 15 years. One in every three American children born in 2000 will likely be diagnosed with diabetes in their lifetime. The proof is in the numbers and we will all be paying for it.

Not really. Society has lost sight of living a healthy lifestyle. This not only affects physical health but also one's mental well-being.

The lowest servant in Heaven is still in Heaven.

Whoever rules in hell is still in hell, but they won't rule for long.

The problem is disciplinary, not physical disability.  So many of our youth have such defiant attitude problems that basic training would break them entirely.  Some have watched leftist propaganda films like Full Metal Jacket and Platoon and they think that accurately sums up military service.

It does not.  Only about 1/3 of our enlisted go to combat, and only about half of our officers ever see the heat of battle.  The rest are "In the rear with the gear."

There are two kinds of recruits I don't want to see, however: leftist liberals, who take it on themselves to infiltrate the armed forces to demoralize the troops, and young men with a vendetta.  Either presents a significant disciplinary problem: the first because he is such a coward that he will not fight, and the second because that trigger-happy SOB will open fire too soon.

Either way, these liabilities cost good men and women their lives.

There is no way to happiness... Happiness is the WAY!

This does surprise me and then again it does not surprise me. We are now fighting two wars that are not declared the other is most of our soldiers in these two wars are trained under the National Guard. Most who join the National Guard thought they would never see any active duty. I think our Navy, Army, Marines, and other military services train far better then the National Guard does.

We have fought a few wars and have not come out as winners, because of the types of war we now fight. We are not a militant country either! Then again our past Presidents and Congress have cut budgets to the military and so something then goes undone!
