Thanks Jk,

I have tried many times, and never found anything. I just did it again with the spelling you provided, and got what I wanted. Well not exactly what I wanted but a beginning. Thanks so much! I knew these guys and jammed with them on several occasions some 30+ years ago. My best friend at the time did the drums on a couple of there albums. I could never find the song anywhere and now, here it is.

I wonder what happened to those guys, they all look so old. What a shame.

Thanks honey!

George , Absolutely I remember L.S.D. ( Lake Shore Drive ) by Aliotta , Haynes and Jeremiah . There was a made for television movie where Aliotta , Haynes and Jeremiah played a rock band it was called Sparrow I think , that's the last I heard of them .  L.S.D. was a regional song I don't believe it ever went national .  Great song , about a great road .   Styx mentions L.S.D. in Borrowed Time .  Several movie have been filmed on , along and around  L.S.D. , National Lampoon's Vacation , When Harry Met Sally and mine and Fifthbeatle's favorite The Blues Brothers .  I will check around see if anyone knows where these guys are today , would be a cool reunion for you guys .

Thanks for the invite George .   GO BEARS !

I lived in Chicago, George... Of course I'd heard the song.

You just had it spelled wrong, that's why you couldn't find anything.

P.S. You're welcome.

George,  Hi you handsome dog.  Did you read the comment I left at the veggie question not long ago, where I mentioned part of Lake Shore Drive was moved?  It now runs behind Soldiers Field instead of in front of it.  Too much water from Lake Michigan was coming up on it. I always liked the song.  I used to listen to it alot back in the day.

You know........... I did, and that is what made me think of this and those guys. I forgot to mention it in the thread that all that chat the other night about Chicago really made me a little homesick.

I also found out that a couple of them, (Jim and Jeremiah) have a band called, The Bullfrog Band" and still play in Southern Illinois. I sent an email and I hope to hear back. What a blast from the past!

George,  You should come back and visit!  The weather is nice now, and all of the flowers are in full bloom.  Do you have any friends or family left here?
