I am 70 years old and have to have this surgery

how long is surgery for resection of trachael stenosis take? I was in a wreck I was hit bu a Simi truck. And had to wear a trake for 31 days. It has caused scar tissue in my throat, that is blocking off my air. I weez and cough. And get choked. has anyone had this surgery? I am 70 years old. I am suppose to have it New Years Eve.
