63, unemployed single woman, annuity in bonds
I am 63, single woman unemployed. I have an annuity of 124,000 now with Mass Mutual and I have all in bonds. I dropped all stocks when the bottom fell out. I am guessing I should just stay there since we may have another bubble burst???? I know a financial guy who is very good. A friend of mine gave him 5,000 and after 8 years she had 50,000, I am wondering if I should take out 5,000 and invest with him. Also, there is talk about the dollar losing its value and that other countries want to invest in euro instead of dollar? Wouldn't it hurt the whole world if our economy collapsed? Thank you very much. I enjoyed listening to you on CNN today.
