I left my ipod in my shed, it got pretty cold that night. The battery was fully charged and what not. The next day went back, grabbed it, and got in my friends car, soon to find out my ipod was empty. I figured everything just got deleted or something. Then I plugged my ipod into my computer to sync all the music back on it. Then it said i need to restore, so i tried, then it did something crazy, im not real sure what it did. Then a little screen came up that said battery level extremely low with an exclamation low or something. So i waited a while and a little sad face screen came on. My computer, nor i tunes reads it anymore, and it keeps looping its self. Any ideas? Btw, ipod 80gb
I think that you should take your ipod into an apple store, because they are really the only people that can look at it and tell you what's wrong. If you are still within your first year of buying it, it's under warranty, and they will fix it for free.
Sounds like something that's out of your hands. You need some technical help that only Apple can give. It probably won't even cost you if you're still under the warranty.

before sending it to the apple store, why don't you try to analyze it with a tool called
lol. i had the same problem. And i searched forever online to find answers. And i went to a site that seemed to be completely off topic. And then there was a little section that said, "My iPod has a little iPod with xs for eyes and a sad face, so my husban did a little research and found that you can drop your iPod on a carpet, or slam it hard against your hand then turn it on" I thought that sounded stupid.. But i slammed my iPod against my hand and sure enough, it turned on. Try that and see what happens.
