Answer 4 out of 4

A:

People age 60 and over may qualify for life insurance.

However, based on your husband's health history he may find it difficult to qualify for most life insurance plans. There are insurers that offer no medical exam life insurance plans, but they do ask some health questions.

In addition, there are guaranteed acceptance life insurance plans that offer up to $30,000 of life insurance, but the coverage is limited the first 1-2 years you own the policy. The rates for guaranteed acceptance life insurance are much higher than for fully underwritten plans.

You may want to shop and compare free life insurance quotes online from multiple insurers in order to find out which companies offer the most affordable options for your husband's life insurance coverage before choosing a plan.
