Hi I am 54 yrs old, weigh 138 lbs. 5'4

Hi I am 54 yrs old, weigh 138 lbs. 5'4" tall and have COPD, in the lighter stage. I want to lose weight, at least 15 lbs and also the tummy fat..I have been going to the gym every morning at same time, same place 5 days a week and then doing stomach exercises at night also. I don't feel or see that I am at all losing any pounds. I do not eat alot. I ate 2 hard boiled eggs and a sandwich with an apple.. I walk the trendmill for 1.5 miles at a rate of 3.5. What am I doing wrong or should be doing.I am really getting discouraged.

with COPD if they give you steroids it is going to put a bad hault to loosing weight. I lost 40 lbs by examining what my bad habits were and getting rid of that and not going on a diet. Make different choices in the food you eat and it will change dramaticly. Drink lost of water. Watch your carbs, but don't give them up. At least the good carbs. Also if you don't eat you won't loose. I'll tell you why, your body goes into starvation mode and stores the fat more. You have to eat to loose weight. Eat three meals a day. You need it especially if you are working out.
