"Most people see things as they are, and ask, 'why'? But I think of things that never were, and ask, 'why not'?" -- George Bernard Shaw.

Yes, losing $8.00 is better than losing $12.50. However, it's better, of course, not to lose anything. I believe it was Frank Scloblette, a famous gaming author, who wrote: "Casino games give odds that are SO much better than those in the lottery, that it makes casino owners look like philanthropists!" So, my advise would be to save up at least $1000. Then go to a casino, and play at either Dice, ("Craps"), or Roulette. LEARN THESE GAMES, (or any others, like Blackjack or Poker), which you play. Learn them as if you were studying for a PHD! Then go to a table that starts at $5 or $10, (all the experts say to take at least 20 x your average bet with you.) Decide on a WIN LIMIT, and a LOSS LIMIT. Stick to these!!!! And DON'T PLAY ANY SLOT MACHINES! Nnt playing slots at a casino takes TREMENDOUS will power, because they are all over the place. IF YOU FEEL YOU HAVE TO PLAY THE SLOTS, at least win some money at the table games, FIRST!
