I Think learning ballroom dancing is the best thing, over there, you will meet men over 50's. So right there you have a lot of choices. I warn you though that you will see and meet men almost in their 80's or younger 70's. The church is a good place to meet a nice person too.
The personal ads of local newspapers is a good place to meet someone, you just have to be careful not to give your address and to meet them in a public place. There are always scary people out there.
The internet dating is a good avenue to meet someone. The only problem is the people you are introduced to are very far. It is possible to find a good-hearted man but you have to be ready for a long-distance relationship. Eventually one has to move if there is a love connection.
