I like Cake
I don’t know if it’s just me and my blinding love for Laura but just cant stop realizing the things she does seem that she is sending me mix messages that she might like me more than a friend. In 2006 I had this problem with her trying to understand her jealousy of me or the dates I had (couldn’t tell who she was jealous of), her non stop flirting/teasing (I flirt back and she flirts back too) and her being very close to me as leaning or touching. Those 3 years ago I looked at as she liked me but when she and I finally had the guts to talk about what is going on between us, she stated that she just see me as a friend and didn’t mean to confuse me. So now I see that the things she does is a friendly thing, but its happening again and my other best friend (Amy) who is friends with her too said “I think she likes you, because the last time I hang out with Laura she was talking about you like you two were couples”…maybe Amy read it wrong maybe I am looking at this the wrong way…I don’t know what to think. All I know is that I feel like I am back in 2006 and nothings changed between us. Why haven’t this changed? why would she still flirt with someone who likes her when she is straight why would she get so close making me have those feelings back again? Why can’t she understand this is hunting me?!?!Is it just me or what?FYI: Bisexual girl, friends with Laura for 9 years, crush on her for 7 years. Is it just me or what?
A healthy relationship starts with trust and honesty and a big warm genuine smile.
Sounds like Laura might be playing mind games with you again. I'd suggest sitting Laura down and explaining to her how you feel. Honesty is the best policy.
