Every key has three major chords. The one chord, the four chord and the five chord. The fourth chord is the 7th of the key you are playing in.
Here is a little trick to identify all of the major chords in every key.
Draw yourself a chart with capital letters A, B, C, D, E, F, G down the left hand column and numbers 1 thru 7 across the top as such:.
