I've been cheated out of my driver’s license, what can I do about it?

To make a long story short; Back in 02 I worked with a man in Georgia, delivering kitchen appliances around town. {I now reside in Tampa Florid)He had assured me that I was covered under his auto insurance and all was well until I had a finder binder and was charged as an uninsured motorist for his truck, and as punishment my license was revoked. {NOT HIS} I’ve now only existed for the past five or so years with no legal way to get to my VA Doctor appointments and without being dependent on others for transportation and I can’t get auto insurance, loans or anything that every US native Born, US Army Vet should be entitled to. I’m told the only way is a bankruptcy but that coasts lots of money too and no one wants to help complimentary or Pro-Bono.  Not having a driver’s license is akin to being a lesser citizen, only slightly above the family dog.  Who can I turn to? What can I do? Is this the right place to ask about this?
