I'm looking to match ammo for a Taurus Thunderbolt 45 cal and a Colt New Frontier SAA 7&1/2" barrel, any thoughts on Winchester 225 silvertip HP/20? Whats a good barrel cleaning practice when target shooting to maintain accuracy with modern ammo? Mostly use as friendly target and a camp gun, and maybe a buck if it wonders through camp.
Any info would be Appreciated, as I just turned 50 and would like to get back to my roots of shooting, been out of the game for awhile and things have changed.
