3 hour diet HELP!

I just started the 3 hour diet but not sure of a few things. If you don't get in all your calories you are suppose to have in a day, should you make them up like in a higher cal snack? I weight 194 and would like to loose 30 lbs so I figure I should eat around 1200-1500 cal a day. Or should I forget about the tedious counting and eat healthy and every 3 hours?

Just eat healthy every three hours. Eat smaller portions with a protein and a carb. What this does is basically keeps your metabolism burning fat. Most good diet plans will tell you to eat four to five small meals a day along with one low calorie snack.

Here is a site that offers FREE diet advice and it is right on with all the nutritionists teachings.

I would also go see a dietitian who can plan a program with you. That'll help you achieve your goal. You don't want to lose too much weight too fast because You'll end up gaining it all back.

Good luck.

I wouldn't "make up" the calories.  The point of the diet (I think) is to have well balanced meals of carbs, protein, fat, and fruits/veggies.  This is what keeps you full until your next meal (this and lots of water).  Depending on your gender and height will determine how many calories you need at each meal.  The standard is 3 meals of 400 cals, 2 snacks of 100 cals, and your last treat is 50 cals.  This is the best diet I have EVER tried!!!  And the ONLY one that has worked.  This is the way I eat and is a life long commitment.  I def. recommend buying the book.  I have the book and the "On The Go" pocket version.  They are like my bible.  I hope this helped!  :)
