I have 3 Capt One cards that I have not pd on in 2 yrs. They total 6400.00. They should have been included in my Chp 7 bankruptcy 4 yrs ago, but we're not. Should I start paying on them or let them charg off and leave them on my report for 5 more years. I don't have the money to pay now, but I have an opportunity to get my own insurance agency which requires a credit review. Is it better to start paying or leave them alone?

Thanks for your response, but it doesn't quite answer the question.  As previously asked, is it better (from a credit score standpoint) to start paying now or to wait out the 5 yrs?  Is the dispute of "it should have been included in the bankruptcy" enough to get it removed from my scoring factors?
