My 9 year old has had allergies for years and when we tried Claritan, it never worked on him.  We even tried the adult version and it still didn't work.  Claritan doesn't work on everyone.  It didn't work for anyone in my family.  We even tried all the others and Benedril was the only thing that worked any at all for us.  I guess it depends on your allergies and the area of country you are from.  It will just take trial and error to find the one that works.  Hope I have helped you.  For more help you can try webmd.com  That is where I go for any type of health question.  Hope the best for you!
