You don't say how old you are, but so many things can affect timing, character, and other issues with respect to your cycle, you should call your gynecologist immediately and dicuss your concerns with him/her. They know you and your Hx, and can advise you as to whether this merits an office visit or not. But your concern alone is reason enough to contact them, and that is a valid reason for said call, so don't think that it is not important enough to "bother" them, that is their job, and if you are either fearful of their judging you or your question, if you do not feel it was addressed sufficiently, or are in any way not satisfied that you have the information you need from them, you may wish to speak with them about the communication problem if you feel it would help, or if not, you should go to your local Emergency Room to be evaluated to ensure that there are no issues that require emergency treatment, and after your health situation is stable, seek another doctor with whom you feel more comfortable in being able to call with any questions that give you concern. Stress kills also, and they're getting paid to be there, you are not getting paid to sit home and worry, and the worst harm I've seen happen to individuals by physicians has always been from a failure of communication. Good luck to you!
