I think I am becomming a sex addict. It wouldnt be such an issue if the only person I wanted to have sex with was my boyfriend. I think about older men all day long. Its all I want to do, it consumes my whole body and mind. I want men who are twice my age, and its just not healthy. I cant go talk to a doctor because I dont feel comfortable talking to women and if I had a male doctor that would just turn me on and im already fantasizing about sleeping with my psychologs that I dont even have. I think about this so much its making me severely depressed because I know its wrong and that I should persue it. I dont want to cheat on my boyfriend, I truely love him but this feeling i have is overpowering... and its slowly ruining my relationship. Also... is there a way to find out if I was molested as a child? I've always kind of remembered it but feel like ive blocked it out somehow. I feel like im losing my mind, i have no control over my own mind.

Hi Coffee, The bottom line is that you do need to talk to somebody to get some help for yourself. You may feel uncomfortable talking to a woman, but sometimes we have to do things that we are uncomfortable with in an effort to better ourselves. I agree with Billy Bob; you may not be comfortable talking to a woman, but you, surely, are not very comfortable with your situation either. It’s good that you know how badly addicted you are to sex and how much you need help. Talking to a female counselor seems to be the best possible option for you. If you can get hold of a sensitive counselor, you would surely start feeling less uncomfortable with each session. It’s just a matter of taking that first step. Go for some reputed helpline like the national helpline at 1-800-99-DETOX that provides assistance to people looking for sex addiction treatment .

I Love Coffee, You are a sweet woman, I highly respect you as a male ,There is no problem with liking older males..You just are sexually addicted And You are highly human..You could have been sexually molested when younger..I've had symptoms of falling in love with females younger than myself ..I've had problems with falling in love with professional people such as a counselor ..But my problem was not sexually addicted , It was just LOVE that I am searching for ..Yes i am in counseling ,,No I would not act out as to hurt someone ,,I am me And As long , As someones of legal age And I meet the right girl, She will be mine forever But keep in mind , I will not go with anyone who is just wanting sex ..Cause 90% of the time, These people are not looking for true love
