My daughter was put on a medication for autism, seroquell; and similiar to when her physicians tried her on lithium, she quickly gained 50 lbs. When we stopped the lithium, yrs. ago, she was able to easily downsize to her prior wt. Although, the doctor stopped the seroquell, due to rapid wt. gain, she has not been able to lose and continues to gain. I now know there are law suits about seroquell causing wt. gain & diabetes. Could this medicene have done something to her metabolism/endocrine system, and how do we get that 'unstuck' if this is also medication related?
